Is it possible to swap my motor (1969 volvo penta) into a older tempest

Hello all I was wondering if it is possible to swap my motor from a 69 sea ray (volvo 4 cyl) into a early 80's late 70's tempest bowrider not sure what the tempest had in it before is this even possible?????? Any info would be great

In theory, yes. Need many more details to give a conclusive answer. Size of each boat, what was in the tempest before, are you planning to swap lower units as well, and much more.
