Hello,
I found this new type of automatic transmission for vehicles and I thought it
might be ideal for operating engines at the most efficient rpm whilst having
a variable propeller rpm. A replacement for a controllable pitch propeller maybe.
I think a marine version would not need the high speed overdrive clutch.
No forward or reverse gear change, the angle of the variator rollers control the direction.
What are your thoughts ?
Mike
