I got a problem repairing a fishing boat (dutch built in 1964 now in Fleetwood U.K.)

The propshaft is bended as you can see in photo here : http://www.daio.com/DSCF3648.JPG

I've planned to straight the shaft or to found a new spare ( where ? )

I also planned to convert the regular rudder to a suspended one becase the keel was bended too.

Stern is now like this :

Have you any ideas or solutions to do these repairs ( shaft and rudder )

Thanx

Well, as far as I know you can not straighten this. But you can shorten it. Cut it at bend have a end made for it and make splice at engine side. I forgot what it is called but there is a way to connect two shafts for add something like a pythondrive

There are engineers all the way up and down Dock street, Or even Poulton Industrial area. Bends are not straightened sucessfully unless they are very low RPM. Yours is worn any way.
